E-Flite Ask-21 Glider BNF EFLU1280 - Due in early May

Modelled after the Schleicher ASK-21 two-seat sailplane (glider) the UMX ASK-21 is equipped with the latest AS3X technology and is the first ultra-micro non-powered sailplane that has been designed with tow or bungee (Hi-start) launching specifically in mind.

E-flite have equipped the ASK-21 with a built in tow hook release mechanism that allows the model to be towed to altitude by either the UMX Carbon Cub SS tow plane, or for solo flight they have included a Hi-start bungee launch system to gain altitude.

Regardless of launch method, once up in the sky the built-in ASX3 technology ensures that the model is able to fly in such a smooth manner that it’s easy to imagine that you are flying a larger model. In fact, thanks to AS3X, the UMX ASK-21 is able to replicate the gentle flight performance of the full-size glider perfectly.

The UMX ASK 21 includes the new Ultra Micro high power series E-flite 1S 150 mAh 25C LiPo battery to power the pre-installed three Spektrum Ultra-Micro SA2030L servos, the two Spektrum SA2030L0 servos and the Spektrum AR6400 DSM2 6-channel ultra-micro receiver /ESC unit.
